Scholarship Program
MAPA IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE OUR RE-DESIGNED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM.
MAPA has initiated partnerships with 5 technical colleges around Minnesota to support students who are interested in entering the asphalt pavement industry. Proceeds from our annual golf event, held each August, will go to these programs.
Below are the recipient foundations for our scholarship program:

MINNESOTA TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION
Up to 10 scholarships available annually for $1,000 each to students interested in pursuing a career in road construction or asphalt industry. A student can be pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree in programs such as: Heavy Equipment Operation and Maintenance, Construction Management, Heavy Construction Equipment, Trucking, Diesel Maintenance, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, or other related degrees. There is no deadline for the scholarship program.

$5000 for students with interest or experience in the asphalt pavement industry in their Heavy Equipment Operation and Maintenance Program.

DAKOTA COUNTY TECHNICAL COLLEGE, ROSEMOUNT
$5000 for students with interest or experience in the asphalt pavement industry in their Construction Management and Heavy Construction Equipment Program.

MINNESOTA STATE COLLEGE SOUTHEAST, WINONA
$5000 for students with interest or experience in the asphalt pavement industry in their Trucking or Diesel Maintenance Program.

NORTH HENNEPIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE, BROOKLYN PARK
$5000 for students with interest or experience in the asphalt pavement industry in their Construction Technology Program.

RIDGEWATER COLLEGE, HUTCHINSON
$5000 to be a part of the driver shortage solution by purchasing mobile CDL simulators.
The remainder of funds will be left to grow in order to make a more substantial donation for university lab equipment.
