Associate Member Benefits
MAPA’s associate member benefits revolve around different ways to interact with your customers, whether through paid opportunities like sponsorships and advertising, or free of charge opportunities.
Associate Member Training
The Associate Member Training Series is offered each year for associate members to present in a webinar format to our general membership and the public sector. These presentations are free for MAPA members to attend and not cost to your company. Four presentations are selected each year and presented between January and March. RFPs are considered each fall. This opportunity has a value of $1000-1500, but no cost to you.
Advertising
MAPA offers advertising through our directory, website, enewsletter, and Asphalt Insider - a print publication that goes out 3 times a year to all contractors in the state. For more information, check out this resource.
Annual Conference Vendor Showcase
At our Annual Meeting: 4 presenters are selected each year to present in session MAPA’s annual meeting - at no cost to you at a $1000-$1500 value.
Monthly Member Feature
Each month, MAPA selects an associate member to have a small feature in our monthly e-newsletter, promotion through social media, and recognition on the front page of our website, free of charge. This is free advertising for you at a $1500 value.
Board Position
MAPA’s Board holds a position for an associate member to fill to represent interests of our associate member sector. The term is two years, and any member in good standing is welcome to apply. Please contact abryduck@mnapa.org with questions.

Committees
MAPA Association Members are invited to join our committees. These provide opportunities to direct policy and advocacy decisions and strategies with public owners, help support asphalt industry workforce development, give input on how to design our events, as well as technical discussions.
Industry Partner – Formerly Sustaining Associate JOIN
ANNUAL DUES: $1,000
For firms that provide business, professional, or administrative services that support the asphalt industry but are not directly involved in the technical, material, equipment, or operational aspects of asphalt production or construction.
Examples include:
- Attorneys & legal services
- Insurance providers
- Finance & banking
- Accounting & business advisors
- Marketing, HR, software, administrative services
- Other professional services supporting the industry ecosystem
Industry Equipment, Supplier or Technical Services Provider – Formerly Supporting & Equipment Distributor JOIN
ANNUAL DUES:

$1,500 (Revenue $0–5 million)

$2,000 (Revenue $5–50 million)

$3,000 (Revenue >$50 million)
For firms that manufacture, distribute, supply, or service equipment, materials, additives, aggregates, testing, recycling/crushing, plant components, or other technical services used in asphalt production, placement, preservation, or related construction operations. These firms do not manufacture or place plant-mix asphalt.
Examples include:
- Plant component suppliers
- Aggregate suppliers & haulers
- Asphalt material and binder-related suppliers
- Additive, polymer, rejuvenator, and chemical providers
- Testing laboratories and QC/QA technical service providers
- Crushing/recycling operations
- Equipment manufacturers & distributors

A non-profit, county, city, or township.

Major Associate
A firm which is a refiner of asphalt cement.
